- 1). Return the cake to the oven to warm up for a few minutes and try again. The cake sticks to the bowl as it cools, so if you warm the bowl again, you may be able to get it out.
- 2). Fill a larger pan with warm water and set the cake bowl inside. If the oven step doesn't work, or if you are worried about overcooking the cake, the water may help loosen the cake enough to remove it. You can also add water to the kitchen sink if you don't have a pan larger than the cake bowl.
- 3). Slide a knife around the edge of the entire cake bowl to loosen it if it is still stuck after trying the oven and water tricks. Invert the bowl and shake slightly. This method may still leave small pieces of the cake in the bowl, but most of the cake should come out.
