A 24-passenger boat known as the Belle will take you on a dining cruise of Green Lake, just offshore from the bed and breakfast known as the Spicer Castle Inn. During the 2.5-hour cruise, you feast on gourmet foods, take in scenic surroundings and socialize with other people on board. Although most dinner cruises are for inn guests only, tickets are available to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights between mid-June and Labor Day Weekend. Non-guests can expect to pay $35.95 per person, before taxes and gratuity, as of March 2010.

This dining cruise caters your family, providing a luau atmosphere, pizza, salads and ice cream sundaes. The 2.5-hour cruise begins with narration of the landmarks in the Duluth-Superior Harbor, but the second half of the cruise is strictly celebration, with music by Jimmy Buffet and the Beach Boys coupled with stellar views of Lake Superior. Reservations are required, and family dinner cruises run from the third weekend of May through the second week of October. Prices as of March 2010 are $19.95 per adult and $9.95 per child (ages 5-14).

Every Tuesday and Friday, you are welcome aboard a lovely Padelford paddleboat for a leisurely sunset dinner cruise along the Mississippi River. The Padelford Company serves meat-and-potatoes fare and delicious desserts on its two-hour sunset cruises, which depart at 7 p.m. and return to port at 9 p.m. Padelford offers sunset cruises from June to September. Prices as of March 2010 are $40.05 for adults and $19.75 for children (ages 3-12), and prepaid reservations are required. Gratuities are not accepted.
