Jack The Giant Slayer Action-Adventure Movie

Jack: The Giant Slayer... Does it remind you of somebody? Yes, you got it.. It's Jack, the giant killer whom everybody would have heard of in childhood stories. Jack, the giant killer, is a famous fictional character from the English fairy tales €Jack the Giant Killer' and €Jack the Beanstalk'.

If you never heard this story, here's a quick brief: This story is about Jack who is a young farmhand. As every fairy tale story has a twist, this one is no alien. Here Jack must rescue a princess from a race of giants. And to reach those giants, he needs to open the gateway to their world. This is pretty much its story.

But this is not the complete info. The important piece of info is that it's now a Hollywood movie. Yes, the movie is directed by Bryan Singer. The story is perfectly crafted by Darren Lamke, Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney... perfect in a sense that the movie has everything from romance between a pauper and princess to adventure war between the good and evil. The awesome thing that I see here is the tagline- €If you think you know the story, you don't know Jack.'
Interesting, right? That made me even more curious about the story. And trust me, it's a good thing. You won't regret it one bit.

Coming to the actors of €Jack the Giant Killer', the role of Jack is played by the talented Nicholas Hoult. The actor was castes by Bryan Singer because of the amazing work of the actor in their previous film. Talking about the princess, Isabelle's character is played by Eleanor Tomlinson. The actress is famous for her role as Fiona in €Alice in Wonderland'. The whole movie has this perfect Briton style attached to it. And that's why all the actors cast in the movie are Britons, except Stanley Tucci. And to fit in, he had adopted English accent.

Talking about some of the amazing facts related to the movie, to create the giants in the movie, it took the team four main steps. The first was mainly performance capture. It was used to capture facial and body movements of the actors. The second step was to make the characters interact virtually. The third step was the adjustment part where the giants were adjusted so that they could fit in the live action performance. And the final step involved some of the finishing touches on the animation, skin and hair and clothing part. Quite a task, eh? Well, this is the reason it turned out so great.

The whole movie is picturized as a story that Jack and Isabelle tells to their kids. Cute! This American adventure flick is totally a must-watch.
