1 teaspoon of powdered onion

2/3 cup of water

4 teaspoons of ketchup

1/4 teaspoon of salt, dry mustard, and turmeric

8 slices of bread

Place the cheese ingredients in a saucepan, heat, and mix with a wire whisk. Bring the cheese to a boil, while continuing to stir. Lower the heat and cook until the cheese thickens. Toast the bread and place it on a plate. Place the cheese on the toast and make sandwiches. If you like it hot, add some jalapeno slices.

This is a favorite among people that cannot eat cheese. It is not hard to make, and can be a very tasty meal. It also is not very expensive to prepare.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of butter of margarine

1/2 cup of flour

1 cup of yeast flakes

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

3 cups of soy milk or milk substitute

1 pound of your favorite macaroni

Boil your water in a saucepan, add the pasta, and cook until done. In another pan, melt the butter slowly, making sure it does not burn. Add the flour to the butter and stir. Add the milk substitute, while continuing to stir, and also add the garlic powder and the salt.

Keep stirring your mixture until it bubbles a great deal. It will begin to thicken, but continue to cook and stir. Add the flakes, and then remove it from the burner. Place the macaroni is a large bowl. Pour your cheese mixture over the macaroni and mix it in well. Your creation is ready to serve.
