How to Go to Your Other Monitor While in Game

    • 1). Hold the "Alt" key and press "Tab" to move to another open window. This breaks you out of full-screen mode on some games and allows you to move to the other monitor with your mouse. This does not work on all games.

    • 2). Press the "Windows" key, which tells Windows 7 to open the Start menu. This breaks you out of the game's full-screen mode, so you can move to the other screen with your mouse.

    • 3). Go through your game settings and look for a toggle switch for running it in windowed mode. If you find you need to move between monitors frequently during game play, enable windowed mode, which allows the game to behave just like other programs in Windows 7. You can then move between monitors with just your mouse at any point without first breaking out of game in the full-screen mode.
