Not too long ago, I came to know this dog toy called crazy critters for dogs.
At the beginning, I thought, is our dog crazy enough to ever need this thing? Anyway, I tried to research about it and this is what I got.
This may not be new at all to you but you would surely agree how often we could observe our dogs destroy some of our hard-earned stuffs at home like our shoes, carpets, chairs and many others.
The truth is, your dog could be suffering from some sorts of eating disorder characterized by an unrestrained interest to eat non-nutritive foreign objects.
So why do they do it? Some dogs do it to catch your attention, some for exploration while others for fun.
Although, as with some other animals especially rodents and rabbits, when you find your dog eating its feces, it is basically because they learned it from their "pre-domestication" survival instincts.
Rodents and rabbits eat their early morning dung for nutrients that would help them feed their young while nursing.
I wouldn't think that crazy critters is the cure to the problem.
In fact, while you enjoy watching your dog playing with the toy, you might already condoning the condition.
Will it be good for my pet? I do think however, that crazy critters could provide some solution, a form of alternative that could alleviate the problem.
By using crazy critters or probably something similar could divert the attention of your dog instead of him keeping his eyes to your same old shoes.
The point is, while your dog probably is still on the process of health evaluation by your veterinarian, training, and behavioral reconditioning, crazy critters dog toy could be of help while you slowly wean him from this sort of vice.
One good point however, I don't necessarily mean that when you observe your dog eating just anything, it has already the problem as described above.
We buy our dogs so many different toys and treats not because they are sick but simply because we love them.
In other words, giving crazy critters to our dogs is exactly not a crazy thing to do.
In fact, your dog might even love to play with it and save your favorite shoes.
Crazy critters features the following: Comes with 2 squeakers- in head and tail No messy stuffing Machine washable Super Strong and durable 22 inches long You'll never have to worry about cleaning up the mess from a torn or ripped stuffed animal.
As with stuffing free toys, this is very important as you wouldn't allow your dog from accidentally ingesting harmful and dangerous materials.
Crazy critters can be machine-washed too which in essence is good.
When your dog plays with it, much saliva accumulate upon it which in turn could be a good medium for bacteria to grow.
So from time to time, you need to wash it.
