When a person thinks of a pet, it is most common for them to lean towards dogs and cats.

The intensity of the colors usually varies depending on the gender of the bird.
Males tend to have brighter and sharper facial coloring than the females, who normally have duller shades.
When considering personalities of the birds, cockatiels can be playful, loyal and intelligent.
They usually remain true to their owners and become cuddly with them.
If the bond is strong, the bird is sometimes known to sing to their owners and nibble on their ears.
They can be quite affectionate.
Through the years, cockatiels and their owners most likely end up forming a loving relationship with one another.
