Looking for some chest building exercises? Well, you don't have to make it too complicated to develop massive pecs.
A lot of other sites will give you a whole slew of different exercises to do, but if you're just starting out, it's pretty much information overload.
For that reason, I'm just going to show you the bare minimum.
Even if you never learned another exercise, you'd still be able to develop a massive chest.
So without further ado: 1.
Flat Bench Press One of the most popular chest building exercises and also one of the most effective, the flat bench press should be a staple of every chest workout you do.
You can either do this with a single barbell or individual dumbbells.
If you do use the barbell, remember to add 45 pounds to the total weight, since that's what the bar weighs.
2.
Inclined Bench Press Much like the flat bench press except this will help you workout your upper chest a bit more.
If you get yourself an adjustable bench, just set it up so that it's at a 30 degree incline then pump out a few sets of this right after doing the flat bench press.
3.
Dumbbell Flys Here's a great way to finish the whole chest workout.
Simply get some dumbbells and while on either a flat or inclined bench and press the dumbbell bars up and out in front of you.
What you'll need to do from here is lower each dumbbell down towards the floor, but you only want them to go down to a 45 degree angle before you bring them back up to the center above you.
With these chest building exercises you're pretty much set to get started with your chest workout.
Of course if you really want to develop a sculpted muscular body, you're going to need a full system and diet to follow.
