- Atlantic City provides visitors with simple, inexpensive places to stay as well as five-star hotel accommodations. Check in one of the simple chain hotels, such as the Quality Inn or the Days Inn, where you can receive a complimentary breakfast. Other available chain hotels include the Marriott, Travelodge and Renaissance Suites. Stay at the Sheraton of Atlantic City for even more hotel amenities. Several five-star options include the Trump Plaza Hotel Casino, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa or the Showboat Mardi Gras Hotel that has its own strip of restaurants and casino games built in.
- Atlantic City offers a variety of restaurants for every budget and craving. Visit The Reserve restaurant for an expensive steak or seafood meal or Casa di Napoli and Arturo's for Italian style food. Check out Red Pearl for Asian cuisine or visit one of many Atlantic City buffets including the Waterfront Buffet, Sunday Brunch or La Piazza. For a less expensive option, eat at Café Roma, 6ix: A Bistro or Pickles.
- Atlantic City is full of casinos for those old enough to gamble. Visit the Trump Taj Mahal, Caesar's Atlantic City and Harrah's for the full casino setup. These venues have everything from black jack to slot machines, fine dining and even adjacent hotels. Many of these casinos are open 24 hours per day. Atlantic City also offers concerts and stage productions throughout the various resorts. Check out the House of Blues for a concert schedule or visit one of the city's many dance clubs like Hibiscus or Providence.
- Atlantic City has day-time activities and attractions to supplement its nightlife. Visit the Atlantic City Art Center, the Renault Winery or the Atlantic City Historical Museum for a taste of culture. Head to Gillian's Island Water Theme Park on a hot day or walk through the Cape May County Park Zoo for free. Other activities to consider include golfing, boating or sightseeing. Spend time shopping at The Walk Outlet Mall and the Hamilton Mall. Visit the building called Lucy the Elephant, which is an Atlantic City landmark more than 100 years old.
