  • LGBT Pride (Paris Gay Pride)
    The LGBT Pride Parade (Paris Gay Pride) takes the streets of the city of light by storm on Saturday, June 27th. One of the year's most popular festivals for locals and visitors of all stripes, this year's festival kicks off near the Odeon metro station at roughly 2:00 pm (at Place Edmond Rostand), winding through the city to Bastille on the right bank.
     


  • The 2015 French Open at Roland Garros
    Tennis fans should not miss one of France's most exciting and important tournaments. Tennis greats like Steffi Graf made their debuts at Roland Garros, and the French Open continues to host some of the world's unforgettable matches.
    When: Through June 7th, the 2015 French Open at Roland Garros takes Paris by storm.
     
  • Fête de la Musique (Free Citywide Music Festival)
    Every June 21st, free musical performances of all genres are on across the city, making for one of the year's liveliest and most convivial events.

Arts and Exhibits Highlights:

The Spirit of Montmartre and Modern Art  


The Montmartre Museum is hosting a show dedicated to the vibrant artistic history of the hilly , northerly Paris neighborhood: an area hosting the likes of Picasso and Dali, and many others. The exhibit includes some 200 artefacts and 150 works of art, allowing visitors to soak in the remarkable artistic heritage of the iconic district.

Rodin: The Laboratory of Creation


The Rodin Museum in Paris is hosting an exhibit dedicated to the French sculptor's creative process, letting visitors inside the artist's studio to explore his own "laboratory of creation". Some 150 works in plaster and terra cotta are on display-- many of which have never been displayed-- and allow visitors to gain unique insight into the extraordinary process behind Rodin's genius.

Pierre Bonnard at the Musee d'Orsay


One of France's great Post-Impressionist artists and co-founder of the avant-garde movement known as the Nabis, Pierre Bonnard isn't particularly well known abroad. The Musee d'Orsay's current retrospective is set to rectify that, highlighting the artist's sumptuous works in both small and large formats, identifiable through its rich yet arrestingly bright colors and sense of vivid movement.
