- 1). Locate the predrilled holes on the head rail of your bamboo blinds. The head rail is the top of the blinds that attaches to the window frame.
- 2). Hold the head rail inside the frame so it is pressed up against the underside of the top of the frame.
- 3). Trace the predrilled holes onto the frame with a pencil. Drill into the traced holes with a power drill.
- 4). Hold the blinds so the holes are aligned with the drilled holes in the window frame.
- 5). Insert the wood screws into the holes in the head rail with a screwdriver.
- 1). Look on the top of the head rail and find the slots cut out on either end. These slots will accommodate the bolts of the brackets and hold the blinds up.
- 2). Hold the blinds against the wall so they are centered and cover the entire window. Make a mark where the slots end, one on each side of the head rail.
- 3). Place the brackets against the wall at the marks you made. The brackets should be placed with the short sides vertically against the wall, and the long side horizontally sticking out at the top of the vertical side.
- 4). Screw the brackets to the wall with standard screws and a screwdriver.
- 5). Hold the head rail up underneath the brackets. The slots on each end should be lined up with holes in top part of the bracket.
- 6). Drop a bolt into the hole on the horizontal side of both brackets so the bolt is facing down and goes through the slots in the head rail.
- 7). Secure the bolts in place with wing nuts. Just screw the wing nuts onto the bolts until they reach the underside of the head rail and the blinds are held firmly in place.
