How to Use a Zune on Mac

    • 1). Click "Go" at the top of your Macintosh screen and select "Utilities" from the drop-down menu. Double-click the "Boot Camp Assistant" icon, and click "Continue" in the setup window.

    • 2). Click and drag the button between the Mac OS X and Windows box to designate how much space to use for the Windows OS, and click the "Partition" button to continue. Insert the Windows OS installation disc, and click the "Start Installation" button.

    • 3). Press the "Return" key on your keyboard to select "C: Partition3 <BOOTCAMP> [FAT32]." Highlight "Format the partition using the FAT file system" and press the "Return" key on your keyboard.

    • 4). Press the "Eject" button in the upper-right corner of the keyboard to remove the Windows OS installation disc once the formatting is complete. Select "Windows" as the operating system to start up in, and plug the Zune USB cable into the Zune player and your computer's USB port.

    • 5). Insert the Zune installation CD into your optical drive to install the Zune media manager. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

    • 6). Double-click the Zune Software icon on the desktop, and click the "Settings" button. Select "Device" and "Sync Options" and select the media you wish to sync. Click "OK" to save the sync settings.
