Why Did You Begin Blogging:

I was bored and thought that it would be a good place to both hone my writing skills as well as chronicle some of the insanity that is my life with six kids. I also wanted to be able to get into freelance writing so I can still stay at home with my kids.

Reasons for Being a Stay-at-Home Mom:

Six children between the ages of 5 and 17.

Before Becoming a Stay-at-Home Mom:

I was a jack of all trades - I worked retail, worked as a nanny, and I was a preschool ballet teacher.

Funniest SAHM Moment:

Hmm, there are so many.

Would it be the time that my child took off her underpants in the middle of the intersection we were crossing at rush hour? Would it be the time that my son told me that the baby was awake, and she'd woken because he hit her?

Biggest Challenge You Face as a SAHM:

Making time for myself and never losing sight of the fact that I am a woman first and a mom second.

Best Advice for Other Stay-at-Home Moms:

Be sure to keep your own outside interests and take the time to nurture yourself. You'll be a better parent for it.
