Do you love apple juice? I do too, but sometimes it gets a bit bland.
Though you can always switch over to orange juice, cranberry juice or other delicious fruit juices, I always find myself gravitating back to apple because of it's satisfyingly sweet flavor, beautiful color and rock bottom price; all those other juices can quickly add up to a fortune.
Apple juice is cheap, but it only has one simple flavor.
So how do we quickly and cheaply change up that flavor? It's really easy actually, and you'll have one of those "a-ha!" moments when I tell you.
So, what is the secret ingredient, you ask? Kool Aid mix.
That's it! It's really easy, and actually easier than making regular Kool Aid because it's absolutely unnecessary to add sugar since apple juice is already loaded with sweetness.
Another added bonus is the flavor already present in the juice provides a rich body to the mix that you'll never ever get from plain water.
It really is a no brainer to add Kool Aid mix to apple juice, and you can even use it as a liquid base for quick, easy blended yogurt drinks.
If you'd like a more robust refreshment, put your favorite flavor of yogurt in a blender and give it a few quick pulses to whip it up first, then slowly add the flavored apple juice until it's a nice, whipped consistency.
Alternatively, you can pour some of your flavored juice into some fun shaped ice trays for an easy afternoon treat.
Fill the trays with juice, cover with plastic wrap and poke some toothpicks in.
The plastic wrap is so the toothpicks won't fall over while the juice is freezing.
There's really quite a bit of ways to enjoy apple juice, either plain, diluted with plain or sparkling water, or mixed with different flavors of Kool Aid mix.
