- 1). Click "Applications" on the dock of your Mac and then click "iWeb" to launch the native application for making websites. Thumbnail images of each page of your website or websites appear in the left pane of the iWeb window.
- 2). Click the thumbnail of the page in which you want to place a hyperlink.
- 3). Click "Text Box" at the bottom of the window to add a text box to the page.
- 4). Type the name for the hyperlink in the text box. You could type the name of the website or use your own description.
- 5). Click "View" from the iWeb application menu and then click "Show Inspector."
- 6). Click the "Link Inspector" tab, which has an icon of a curved arrow. Click the "Enable as Hyperlink" check box.
- 7). Type the hyperlink in the "URL" text box.
- 8). Click the "Open Link in a New Window" check box if you want a new page to open when visitors click this link on your website.
- 9). Click the "Make Hyperlinks Active" check box.
