Men Will Faint From Terror Apprehensive of What Is Coming, For the Heavely Bodies Will Be Shaken

The first sign struck across the sky
A sizzling comet
And another made its way
Streaming through the prolix fright
But that's just the way it is
when sagely words of caution brighten up the night
Because this is not about being terse, economical or brief
It is about having an affect
And theatrical drama is the order of the day
Let it seep and let it burn
And just for good measure a targeted missile
will make them spurn
For fear is the means to dominate and control
It is the means to take charge and to manipulate
Because there is reward in fulfilling the mission
whether it be a psychological need, a form of gratification,
a method to reinforce the hierarchy, a source of commodities
or a serious bag of cash
The fall out may be significant but then again
it could be too hard to tell
And it would be impossible to rule out collateral damage
that could happen on Pluto, Uranus, Ceres or Mars
But this was long before Copernicus, a famous astronomer
and a foolish misguided Pole
And Dominic had not yet conquered the Dominicans
with his pithy rationalism and his attempts to wake up the bay
But this is not about Cuba or any other breastfed pig
Fidel has ventured to the outer world
and Raul will do his best to bring flowers provided there is no torrential rain in May
But it is the chemical weapons that will have the greatest consequence or effect
And if it seems that we are in a time warp it is because we really are
Millenia before Einstein but in this case the grains of sand have no causal chain,
there is no linearity, only a mishmash that God may only understand
But it turns out that relativity is merely a scientist's myth
For there are no constants when an invisible hand is holding a trigger
And this is what seems to be causing apprehension among the populace
For this is no great Greek metropolis
Let them argue about the union in Frankfurt or Brussels
That is the twenty-first century but there is still a little more
In ancient Jerusalem it is modern as this is written
A prophet will come who will reak havoc upon the traditions of the Jews
But he was hung between two criminals
And one was Barabas so they say
But if you have led a good life there is no need for you to fret or worry
It is all in the cards for that is what the good book has always said
