- The Line 6 Spider IV 120 is a 120-watt guitar modeling amplifier. Rather than create its own unique sound, the Line 6 Spider IV modeling amplifier uses software to duplicate sounds from a variety of different amplifiers. This makes it useful for an artist who plays a variety of styles, as it lets him dial in classic American, British and European amplifier sounds.
- The Line 6 Spider IV 120 has 16 different amp models that duplicate the sound of a variety of different vintage and modern amplifiers. The Line 6 Spider IV 120 includes red and green versions of "Clean," "Class A," "Twang," "Blues," "Hi Gain," "Crunch," "Metal" and "Insane." Each of these modeling channels are modeled after a distinct amplifier sound, making the Spider IV useful for obtaining a variety of different guitar tones.
- The Line 6 Spider IV 120 comes with over 20 different effects including wah, phaser, chorus, flanger, reverse and more. The user can choose to manipulate each of these effects individually, or choose from over 300 preset effects already programmed into the amplifier. After modifying the amplifier's effects settings, the user can also save up to 64 custom presets on the amplifier.
- The 120 watt Spider IV model contains two 10-inch celestion speakers. It comes with a built-in tuner, headphone jack, CD/MP3 jack and FBV jack (footswitch).
