- 1). Close all open programs. Save anything you want to keep.
- 2). Click the "Start" menu on the bottom of the monitor.
- 3). Click on "Control Panel" in the list of applications.
- 4). Search "Control Panel" for "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows XP and click on it. For Vista and Windows 7 search for and click on "Uninstall a Program."
- 5). Scroll down "Currently installed programs" and find "Microsoft Office Suite 2007." Click on it. Removing the entire suite of programs also removes the service pack.
- 6). Click on "Change/Remove" in Windows XP. Click on "Uninstall" in Vista and Windows 7.
- 7). Wait as the computer uninstalls Microsoft 2007 Office Suite and the Microsoft 2007 Service Pack 1.
- 8). Restart the computer if instructed to do so.
- 9). Reinstall the Microsoft 2007 Office Suite from the original CD-ROM if you still want the office suite on your computer, but don't reinstall Service Pack 1.
