- 1). Determine the amount of drip system supplies you'll need for the job by measuring your yard. The drip hoses cover a 3-foot wide strip. If your home garden is 9 feet wide, you'll need three hoses.
- 2). Attach the drip regulator to your faucet nozzle. You'll want to give it a firm tightening with a wrench.
- 3). Connect the PVC pipes to run along the top of your drip irrigation system. Add joints to each place where a hose will start with end caps between each joint and hose. This allows you the freedom to water individual rows as desired.
- 4). Connect the hoses and position a drip spout at the base of each plant in your garden.
