Hi this is Dave for Expert Village and today we are making fettuccine Alfredo primavera. While our pasta is boiling we want to finally chop some roma tomatoes. I would show you how to do that. Go ahead and cut the end of it like that. I just like to cut it down and we are going to leave the peel on here. If you (the skin on here)if you really like to you can part boil these a little bit and peel of the skin. It has a lot of nutrients and I think it is pretty tasty so I'm just going to leave them on. So I just like cut them down this direction and just run your knife through. Again you want this to be a pretty fine dice again this would be the last thing that goes into your sauce. It is going to add a lot of color and it does not take very long to cook. Unlike the carrots and some of the other veggies. So I like to just go down like this and turn this direction and just like this to a nice fine dice.
