A few months ago, a friend of mine started medical school in Japan. We used to jOKe around about him going there, he was always so into Japanese culture, but we never believed he would actually return to his parents' homeland to go to school. Of course, we were excited for him, though we realized that it would sort of suck that he wouldn't be around to hang out with us anymore.

We had an awesome party for him, we all figured we would see him again, but we wanted to say goodbye at least. Plus, we figured it would be a great chance to have a huge banger. It didn't disappoint, and he didn't really, well not at first. He kept in touch with us, once a week my roommates and I would get together and hang out by the computer so we can video chat with him. I know, it's a bit strange a bunch of guys talking that much, but we're all pretty tight like that. Each week he would show us some crazy Japanese item he found, it was all fun and it was hilarious when he brought up the used panty vending machines they have in the cities. What a weird country.

So a few weeks ago, he started talking about this pretty girl he keeps seeing at the hospital. He told us she just keeps popping up, always wearing a medical mask, and has been completely eye screwing him. I don't know how he knows, being that she always has the mask, but apparently she's gorgeous. He doesn't even know her name, I don't think the wuss has even spOKen to her yet, but I get the feeling he's been falling for her. What a loser.

Anyway, last week we all got together for our weekly chat with our buddy, but he never logged in. Ok, you know we figured he was probably out having a fun night in TOKyo or something. Maybe he was at an anime convention, he loved those things and apparently the Japanese go crazy about them. We also thought maybe he was out on a date with that cute masked girl. You never know, he could have summed up the courage.

Well, a week has passed, and I haven't seen him log into any of his chat sites or social networks. I don't know what's going on, but I'm starting to get worried. He jOKed around once that maybe his admirer was the ‚¬"slit-mouthed woman‚¬ from Japanese legend. Apparently this chick goes around asking people if she's pretty and if they say yes, she reveals a chopped up mouth and asks again, if they hesitate, BOOM their dead. Who knows, maybe his masked friend really was this girl. I hope he has the brains to say yes quickly! then again nobody has heard from him in two weeks.
