A Review of No-Nonsense Muscle Building - How to Strength Train - The Right Way

Many books are published regarding strength training, working out and various ways to build muscle.
Many of those books contain information that is incorrect or misleading.
I've reviewed Vince Delmonte's No-Nonsense Muscle building.
It claims to teach how to strength train - the right way.
This is what I've found.
Upon reviewing the book, several items caught my eye right from the start.
Those were his references to supplements, steroids, limited time in the gym and intensity of a work out.
Based on what I've seen, he is providing honest information on getting leaner, stronger and bigger muscles.
And following his advice will ultimately teach you how to perform strength training the right way.
In addition, you will learn how to lose the stomach fat and love handles as well as increase muscle size and gain strength.
Similar to what the author states, supplements are the myths of the magazine publishers attempting to make a profit.
The book discusses the origins of the magazines published today and gives information regarding what drives the magazines to promote the use of these supplements.
The bottom line is that supplements essentially do nothing for strength training except prevent you from obtaining your goals and actually add fat to your body.
This book is accurate in its analysis.
Steroid use and the inherent risk to the body is one of the most under rated topics in the muscle building world.
The use of steroids, especially when used by unknowledgeable and unsupervised individuals is one of the most dangerous additions to a strength building routine.
The information in this book advises you to stay away from this form of muscle gain.
Due to the extreme danger involved in the use of this performance enhancer, the writer is accurate in his advisement.
The book discusses the amount of time spent in the gym.
One of the many myths told by body builders is the more time you spend in the gym the more you will get out of the work outs.
The problem is that the large majority of men who workout are not body builders.
They are average guys just trying to get in shape, gain some muscle and lose some body fat.
When that is the primary goal, more is not better.
There is scientific evidence to show what works to get the most out of your training regarding the factors of frequency, duration and intensity of workouts.
The advice given in this book follows fairly closely the same information as scientific studies have shown.
Reference is made in the book to the intensity of the work out as well.
As stated in the paragraph above, studies have been performed and research done to better understand what role intensity plays in a strength building routine.
This book gives good reference to the scientific findings regarding the intensity of strength workouts.
Based on these key points, the writer has done a good job in providing honest information related to muscle building.
Plus, he walks you through his workouts step by step, substantiating the information from detailed in the book and supporting what are known scientific facts related to gaining muscle and strength.
His work should be considered to be a good, honest source of information for anyone looking to learn how to strength train - the right way.
