This is a hugely shocking acquisition, which came out of the blue. Rumors about a T-Mobile/Sprint merger have floated around for years, but we've never heard of anything like this.
What does this mean for AT&T and T-Mobile customers? One thing, for sure, is that they are soon to have much better cellular service. AT&T has vowed to expand 4G LTE, and with such a large increase in their customer base, they will rule a greater deal of the market. It now appears that Verizon is up against a monster. We'll call it the ‘AT&T-Mobile' monster.
