The prophet Joel in his generation promised by the unction of the Holy Spirit these words.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.
(Joel 2:28 KJV) A young boy barely tall enough to see into the kettle on the family propane range, watched as his mother lite a fire under the kettle of water and poured oatmeal into it.
Having poured the oatmeal into the water she stirred it and then left it to heat up and cook.
Minutes passed, which seemed to the young boy as a "forever", but before long, in between his mother's stirs of the cooking oatmeal he observed a bubble as the oatmeal began to cook.
It was first one bubble, then another, then another.
At first the bubbling was slow, moments passed between the bubbles, but the bubbling sped up, and before long the whole pot was a boil with the bubbling of oatmeal cooking, then it was divided among the family to their eating.
The young boy illustrates any person whose eyes are open to heavenly things, that in these last days will watch and experience the more and more frequent outpouring of the Holy Spirit throughout the world.
The fire is the conviction of the Holy Spirit causing Believers to pray, to obey, to seek the Kingdom of Jesus.
The Mother stirring Illustrates the care of the Five Fold ministers who nurture the Church in Christ Jesus' name.
The boiling of the oatmeal is the demonstration of outpouring (the baptism) of the Holy Spirit in these last days, bringing deep conviction, revelation, and many signs and wonders.
The components all comprise the recipe of the promised latter rain that will cause the Church to come to the fulness of the statue of the Son of God before His coming again.
Be watchful therefore that the promise of the Holy Spirit, and a place in Christ kingdom be given to others and you yourself loose out because of neglect sponsored by unbelief.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.
Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain (James 5:7 KJV) A Watchman, Gregory A DeHart
