The widespread fight against gay marriage is winnable! However, victory won't come until we trade our wrong and worn out anti-gay attitudes of hostility and condemnation for a brand new mindset and correct strategy! What then is the right strategy? There are six fold basic mental attitudes that will constitute the new wining strategy for this battle! They are: 1.
Humility - Be conscious of the fact that you were (at least) once like them! Now before you jump at me and shout that you have never been a homosexual all your life, do me a favor and read Romans 1: 28-31 again, and after that, try to focus intensely on Ephesians 2:5-9, Romans 2:1-6 and Romans 2: 21-24.
I am sure you will be deeply humbled after this simple exercise! 2.
Smartness - Know your target! Our battle is not against the professing and practicing gays but against their invisible deceiver and oppressor - the arch Enemy of the entire humanity who is also the author of gayness! Read 2Corianthians 4:3-4, Ephesians 2:2 and Ephesians 4:18.

Clarity - Refuse to call the victims what your Enemy (their oppressor) calls them! The Devil and the world call them homosexuals and gays; but our Lord Jesus Christ calls them the lost sheep, which we must recover and bring back to the fold! Read Mathew 9:10-13, Mathew 15:24, and John 10: 10-17 (by the way, the "other sheep" in John 10 verse 16 refers prophetically to the rest of the world apart from the Jews.
Study Ephesians 2:11-22 for better understanding).

Focus - Understand your mission and concentrate on it! The zeal to see gayness and homosexual marriage outlawed should never distract you let alone replace our Lord's deep longing in your heart to reach out to the practicing and professing gays everywhere; ministering to them dynamically in compassion and attacking their Oppressor so fiercely in the Spirit until you see them testifying of God's supernatural deliverances and 100% turnaround of their sexuality for good - all by the new anointing! Read Luke 11:21-22.

Capacity - Build your spiritual muscle and get thoroughly equipped! You are entering the realm of supernatural warfare not some web fun fare.
No more room for arguments and childish chatter on social network sites.
It's time to get wired up on real time! Read 2Corianthians 10:3-5 and Ephesians 6:10-18 (and please do more of what Ephesians 6:18 tells you to do very often)! 6.
Compassion - Do your best in loving them just as our Lord Jesus loved us! Jesus did NOT actually tell us (the Church) to love others as we love ourselves.
No.
He commanded us to love others the way He loved us! If you want to know how to do that, then you will do well to study the following scriptures: John 13:34, John 15:9-13, Romans 5: 6-9, Ephesians 5:2.
Finally, I noticed that Jesus in His earthly ministry (as recorded in the four Gospels), never had much difficulties convincing and transforming the sinners to lead a righteous life, but he always had untold hard time dealing with the religious folks, who were so blinded by their own self-righteousness, that they could not see their terrible need for the true righteousness that comes from God.
May we not repeat the same mistake and offend our Lord in our zealous fight against gay marriage!
