- 1). Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2). Combine 2 cups of sour cream, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir together with your whisk, until the sour cream topping is uniform.
- 3). Spread the mixture over the top of your cheesecake, using your offset spatula. Push the sour cream topping down into cracks to seal them. Coat the entire top of the cake with your sour cream topping, to make an even layer.
- 4). Put your cheesecake in the preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes, if the cheesecake is still warm from baking. If your cheesecake was chilled or room temperature, bake for 14 minutes.
