New homes launched at Freedom Bay in St Lucia

The eco-luxury development is located, uniquely, within a UNESCO World Heritage site at the foot of the iconic Pitons. Sustainable development is a key consideration in developing this site and this will be the first Six Senses Resort in the Caribbean, as well as the first internationally branded five star hoteliers to move to the island.

The strict building restrictions applied within the Pitons Management Area which Freedom Bay sits within ensures there will be no over development and guarantees that property owners' naturally beautiful views will be protected forever. The property offering is split into two sections: The Five Star Hotel and the super exclusive Private Residential Estate and the first phase is due for completion simultaneously with the hotel opening in December 2013. The developer of the Eco-Luxury resort at Freedom Bay in St Lucia has announced the launch of a limited edition of just 10 front line villa plots for three and four bedroom super luxury villas.

Each of the 10 Private Residences plots measure an average of 20,000sqft in size and purchasers can retain ownership of the land plot and build a villa at construction costs plus a 20% margin (for project management) by phased payments. Early investors are expected to achieve substantial returns. On completion villa owners can benefit from the concierge service and access to the facilities of the Six Senses Hotel.

The price of the plots starts from $500,000 (313,000), while the guide price of the three bedroom villa to build on this plot is US$ 1.12m (700,000).
Irish property prices have plummeted by around 50% in the past four years, with some of the greatest falls recorded in the capital city of Dublin.
