A the economy continues to be slow everybody around the world -yes, the economy is a global problem- is looking for ways to save some money.
It does not matter if you are a business owner, a working dad, a Stay at Home Mom or a senior citizen.
We are all in the same boat! If you do have access to a computer you can turn ordinary things into acts of saving money.
The Internet is a very useful resource that can help us in saving money.

1. Save Money in the Kitchen: If you like cooking in any way you are sure to own 4 to 5 different cookbooks, If I would bet with you how many recipes you use out of nay given cookbook I would think it to be between 4 and 8.
   All the other recipes you just bought because they were in the book.
   If you need the one recipe that you want to make you can almost certainly find it in the internet on one of the many recipe pages and databases online.
   They allow you to print the recipe and also to customize it to match your number of serving.
   That way you could print only the recipes you need and never need to buy another cookbook!
2. Save on Groceries: You can find coupons to all major stores and brands in the internet.
   That is especially true for the US.
   The coupon system in the United States is just great! Just try and search in a search engine for a coupon for a special product and you will find one! If you are out shopping also try and locate the refill bags for things like shampoos and detergent.
   Since you already have the bottles or containers at home you will be okay with the bag.
   (There might be enough in there to fill the bottle up two times!)
3. Save on your Garbage: Try and do your shopping with your garbage can in mind.
   In some places you get charged for the trash that is actually picked up.
   So if you reduce your trash right at the grocery store and leave the cereal boxes or apple cartons or bread bags at the store waste container you will save cash! Of course that means some in advance planning to really have that fabric bread bag handy when you go shopping, for example, but it does show in your wallet after some time.
   Also if enough people did this then maybe one day the grocery stores and manufacturers have to rethink their packing strategies.
   
4. Save with the Computer: If you are online a lot either because you have your own business or just a blog make sure you have the best hosting available.
   Hosting companies offer very different things to customers.
   Some hosting companies let you promote their company and earn a stable income on the side! Even if you just have a blog be sure to check out ways to monetize it! Go ahead and read about affiliate marketing and try your luck there! If you earn a little money, just remember that it is 100% more money than you had before! A word of caution! Be sure to check your blogs rules about posting affiliate links! Some do not allow it and your account could be canceled.
   
5. Sell your Old Stuff Online: Ever since the arrival of eBay people have been selling things online (actually probably before that.
   But there are more ways to sell things online.
   Some sites operate like a giant garage sale that lets you list your things and shop from others! If you really want to save some money get rid of things that are lying around in your home draining you of energy and taking up precious space!

With all those savings it still would be nice to make some money on the side.
Now there are a gazillion of possibilities online to do that!
