Hey They Use Lead in Our Money, But Take Away Toys from Our Children?

Recently, I talked with a Chinese Toy importer, he was an American and was enjoying a huge monthly income, as the US Children's thirst for toys is unending and with a robust Middle Class, there is plenty of money to go around for toys too.
We sat down for coffee and I asked him how things were going with all the recalls on Chinese Toys.
As a hardliner on "fair trade" I indicated by disdain for those who do not follow our importing rules.
You see, the US is more than fair allowing other nations to ship their goods here, even when they disallow much of our goods there.
We got into a gentleman's debate, and of course he defended his Chinese Toy imports.
He said:
Hey they use Lead in our money, but take away Toys from our children? Lead is Lead, if it is that big of deal why do we have lead in our money, children touch money and you need to stop acting like a child, as you just paid that Starbucks Employee with paper US Currency that has lead in it.
Why? If you really cared about her or yourself you would not use the currency, you hypocrite!
Wow, well indeed, that was an interesting comment wasn't it and of course, neither you nor I, plan on giving up money anytime soon, it is a unit of trade that serves us well, even if the US Dollar is at an all time low, the amount of lead in it, is not - I thought.
Think on this.
Sincerely, Lance.
