I as a previous sufferer of Depression have learnt some very helpful tips to overcome the tiredness that I found so difficult.
When I woke up in the morning and felt like I haven't slept a wink.
I tried lifting my arms to roll over and could barely move.
There is relief at hand.
Here are some great Tips I found worked for me.
I would find some happy music, upbeat and bouncy.
I would have it set aside the night before so it was within reach for the morning.
I would find some bright colored material like a scarf or shirt.
When I woke in the morning feeling like death warmed up, I would reach for the music and the colored material and pull close to my chest.
The music would improve my mood I could feel it in my body and the colors would dance in my arms.
The few minutes I had to myself in the morning with this ritual would encourage me to face all of the days' challenges and the kid's busy routine.
I found myself while at home watching Musical Movies during the day to keep me upbeat.
The energy level in the house was upbeat and so were the children.
Keeping a positive routine filled with low level activity would help with coping and overcoming the tiredness.
I would watch and listen to Sound of Music with Julie Andrews or Hello Dolly with Barbra Streisand Movies as I worked.
The energy and stories help to keep prospective on my own challenges.
I could find ways to solve to daily bombardment of problems from my much loved Family and friends.
These simple techniques kept my body energy upbeat.
When I surrounded myself with positive music and cheerful color, nothing too overpowering, I could overcome the tiredness.
When I kept moving, slowly but consistently, I could function well in my life.
Overcoming the symptoms of depression and functioning in life is important for family and friends confidence.
Working with professionals and medical doctors also can be of great assistance during a prolonged time of depression.
If symptoms persist and continue please seek additional help.
