- 1). Stir the beans in the coffee container if coffee doesn't exit the spout when turned on. The beans are probably sticking together and not feeding through the grinder correctly.
- 2). Turn the grinder to a coarser setting, if coffee continues to not come out, as too fine a coffee will stop up the funnel.
- 3). Check the water container for debris or particles blocking the connecting valve, and check the coffee funnel and brewing chamber for clogs.
- 4). Make sure there's an empty cup under the spout, and push the "Rinse" button. The display will read "Rinse."
- 5). Push the dial. The display will then read, "Rinsing," and finally "Ready." The machine will flush out the blockage into the empty cup.
- 1). Chill your milk more thoroughly if you're seeing inadequately frothed milk.
- 2). Keep your milk in the refrigerator and allow it to get very cold before attempting to froth it. Keeping a metal container in the freezer and pouring cold milk into that to froth may help.
- 3). Make sure your milk is of the lower fat variety rather than full fat, as full fat milk (of any kind) will produce less thick froth than milk with lower fat content.
- 4). Remove the frother from the unit, and check for steam going through the nozzle. Use a needle to clear the nozzle if steam is unable to escape.
- 5). Clean all frothing parts as dirty parts will cause blockage.
- 1). Locate the smaller compartment inside the water tank in the first step to correcting a water tank that has plenty of water in the tank but registers as "Fill Water" on the display.
- 2). Find the small plastic lid that covers the compartment, as it has probably become detached releasing the small compartment's flotation device. (If the pieces are missing completely, call 1-800- 220-5701, and the company will send you the missing pieces for free.)
- 3). Reinsert the flotation device followed by the lid.
