The homeopathic treatment for depression, as with any homeopathic treatment, doesn't treat the depression.
The depression does not occur in isolation.
It is part of you.
And there is always a reason for it.
Homeopathic treatment works at treating the whole person, regardless of the problem you have, whether it is on a physical, emotional or mental plane.
In the current medical model, this can be hard to understand.
Examples are great ways to illustrate a point.
So here is an example to help you understand the concept of homeopathy.
A cat was brought to me for treatment.
She was becoming very aggressive, biting her person without apparent reason.
Animals are not naturally aggressive.
They become aggressive through something people do, albeit unkowingly.
Some people train dogs to be aggressive.
But there are other reasons.
Constant teasing can make anyone, human or animal, aggressive if that is your nature.
It can also turn you in on yourself, becoming shy and avoiding contact with people.
Another reason can be food.
Despite vigorous claims to the contrary, most commercial pet food contains highly toxic chemicals, chemicals that would never be allowed in human food, because of their toxicity.
So we thoroughly examined every part of this cat's life history, but could see no emotional cause that may have triggered the aggression.
The only possible cause could be her food.
So, her person changed her diet to a natural one.
Within two days, she contacted me in excitement.
The aggression was significantly diminished.
By the end of the week, there was only a hint of aggression left.
In this case, the cat required no treatment at all.
And once the cause of the problem is found, often no treatment is necessary.
Because homeopaths are trained to examine every single possibility of the cause of ill health, leaving no stone unturned, we are able to make a connection that others often can't.
In the case of the cat, it was the food.
In the case of depression, it is much more likely to be from an emotion that you are still stuck in.
The death of a loved one can lead to depression.
Most people have a grieving period after the death of a loved one, then start to return to normal life.
But some get stuck in the grief.
If it remains unresolved, this can lead to depression.
This is very personal and unique to you.
Other causes can be a fright or swallowing anger, never expressing it.
The are as many reasons for depression as there are people with it.
The homeopathic treatment for depression treats you as the unique person you are, searching to find your cause, then matching it to your medicine, the one that matches you and your symptoms.
Then everything starts to come right.
Your depression as well as all the other maladies you suffer from.
