Everyone knows that the best place for wet and wild summer fun is The Beach Waterpark in Warren County, Ohio. With real palm trees, white sand, and more than 50 rides and attractions covering the park's 35 acres, you'll think you've left the Midwest and arrived in the tropics.
This year, things are really heating up at The Beach Waterpark with new features and events to keep everyone in your family smiling. Opening this year is Rainforest Rapids, an exotic water adventure experience that will transport you to the Amazon with lush tropical forests and exotic bird aviaries. Then, hold on tight as you thrill to 650 feet of exciting whitewater rapids and a climactic waterfall splashdown.
There's even something for the youngest members of your crew, with a zero-depth children's pool and even a miniature body slide. All this in addition to The Beach Waterpark's other fan-favorite attractions like the 1,000-foot-long Typhoon Twist, the darkened Twilight Zoom, and even The Cliff, voted one of the best slides in the country.
Summer 2011 at The Beach Waterpark is packed with special events catering to every age group. Groove to live music with the hot area bands featured at Saturday Sizzlin' Sounds, or with the tropical island music of Reggae Fest every Sunday between July 3 and August 14. If you're feeling theatric, don't miss the debut of Sinbad: in Search of the Golden Pineapple, an acrobatic and diving stunt spectacular running three times daily July 23-29. Then, kick back in the Kahuna Beach Wavepool as you and your family take in a new film each Saturday night between July 2 and August 13 as part of the park's Dive-In Movies.
If you're looking for something a little more grown-up, The Beach Waterpark has you covered there as well, with two weekly over-21 events. Come down to the Moonlight Mingle on the Fridays of July 8, 15, 22 and 29 to enjoy the night sky while dancing to music from the house DJ. Or break up your midweek routine by participating in Wine Down Wednesday, where you can sample new wines and even take in a soothing massage.
You and your family don't want to miss out on any of the fun at The Beach Waterpark this summer. Find out what's happening in Warren County and request your free visitors guide to start planning your vacation to Ohio's Largest Playground!
