How to Make a Natural Tick Treatment

    • 1). Pour rubbing alcohol into a small cup. You need just enough alcohol to create a ¼ inch deep pool of liquid.

    • 2). Find the ticks and take note of each of their locations. Ticks typically hide in hair or fur, so it may be hard to spot them. Search with your eyes as well as your fingers. When attached to skin, ticks feel similar to a scab.

    • 3). Soak a cotton ball in liquid dish soap. Place the cotton ball on top of the tick for 15 to 20 seconds and remove it. This will cause the tick to pull out of the skin and walk away.

    • 4). Grab the tick quickly but gently with a pair of tweezers. Drop the tick in the cup with the rubbing alcohol. The tick should drown in the alcohol.

    • 5). Repeat the process for all additional ticks. Once all of the ticks are removed, flush them down a toilet.
