- 1). Set the birdhouse face down on your work surface.
- 2). Set the two boards side by side on the back of the birdhouse. The wide part of the boards should be placed against the birdhouse. The crease formed by the two boards add aesthetic appeal.
- 3). Move the boards all the way up the back of the birdhouse without sticking out over the edges. This will give your birdhouse extra support.
- 4). Secure the boards to the birdhouse with the brad nail gun.
- 5). Place the planter on the work surface with the back of the planter facing you.
- 6). Set the bottom of the boards against the planter. The birdhouse should face away from you.
- 7). Hold the boards flush with the bottom edge of the box.
- 8). Secure the boards to the box with your brad nail gun.
- 9). Decorate your project as desired.
