  Choose flowers that bloom during fall for a seasonally appropriate bridal bouquet. Many flowers that bloom during the fall feature rich, autumnal shades of gold, red and purple, creating a dramatic pop of color against your white gown. For an early fall wedding, in September or October, opt for seasonal flowers such as goldenrod, marigold, liatris and anthurium, according to Teleflora. Dahlias continue to bloom into late summer and early fall, and feature warm colors.

  If you prefer a fall bouquet with a more timeless appeal, roses are still just as popular during fall as the rest of the year. Look for shades that reflect the fall landscape -- rusty orange, bronze, burgundy and maroon or cream and ivory. Rather than opting for summery bright pinks, look for pale pink or pale coral roses for a vintage fall mood. Bright red (or dark red) hydrangeas are traditional while still autumnal.

  For centerpiece decorations at your ceremony venue and reception, surround your guests with colorful flowers that are naturally blooming in the crisp fall weather. Chrysanthemums reach their natural season in fall, and bloom in a versatile range of sizes and colors. Chrysanthemums are typically used to accent and complement other flowers in an arrangement, such as bright marigolds. Use wheat and goldenrod as accents, or bright red and yellow Kniphofia for a dramatic look.

  For a broader range of flowers, look to flowers that are available the entire year, such as roses, orchids, gerberas, daisies and lilies. Depending on the color scheme, these flowers can evoke a subtle fall feel (for instance, in bronze and ivory shades) or a bold fall look (for instance, in eggplant, orange and maroon). For seasonal accents, consider yellow and red crab apples or eye-catching orange Physalis fruits, which complement and enhance your traditional flowers.
