• The Broken Arrow Campground is located 23 miles from Mount Rushmore and is surrounded by the Black Hills National Forest. • Kemp's Camp is located in the scenic pines of Battle Creek Canyon, a mere five minutes away from Mount Rushmore. A full hookup that includes water, sewer, electric and satellite TV had a rate of $39 per night in 2009. Heartland Campground

• This campground is located at the gateway to Custer State Park and less than 20 miles away from Mount Rushmore. According to BlackHillsCampgrounds.com, there are more than 140 RV sites and 10 "Super Sites" over 75 feet in length located at Heartland Campground. Rates vary by season; however, the most expensive daily rate in 2009 for a deluxe site was $34.99 per day.
