Rome might be the busy and bustling capital of Italy by day, but at night is one of the most romantic and intimate settings Europe can offer. In the daytime you and your loved one can go hand-in-hand with the crowds sightseeing the historic Colosseum and Sistine Chapel or viewing the internationally acclaimed artwork of Michelangelo and Raphael. But by night, Rome lights up and the beautiful little roads, avenues and squares provide the perfect stroll before a box of chocolates from expert shops in La Bottega del Cioccolata in Rione Monti. For the most romantic couples there is the Roseto, Rome's public rose garden where you can have an intimate photo in the pink and red rose topiaries. Rome is also famous for its cuisine and any couple that wants a romantic candlelit dinner will be spoiled for choice with delectable pasta dishes and wholesome, tasty pizzas. - Disneyland Paris is the French holiday resort and adventure park for kids and families that love anything and everything Disney. For younger children there are life-size characters to meet and greet including Disney favorites Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Goofy. When they have had their photo with their beloved characters the children can explore a miniature world, visit the Pirates of the Caribbean or fire lasers with Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear. Even adults can enjoy themselves with the Big Thunder Mountain rollercoaster or relax a little more on horse-drawn street cars and the Disney railroad. There really is something for every member of the family and Disneyland Paris remains one of the most popular European destinations for a weekend away.
