Group Meditation - Meditation Tip Number 2, on How to Meditate Deeply

Group Meditation is another secret tip that is little known about and not well understood. Jesus spoke of it's principle in the bible when he said "where two or three are gathered in my name there am I". I've heard the principle very aptly described this way.

Imagine you are holding a single magnet of a certain size and strength at the end of a piece of string and next to it is a metal bar. The single magnet on it's own is not strong enough to attract it-self to the metal bar, but when that single magnet comes together with other magnets, their combined force and strength easily attracts them to the metal bar.

Metaphorically speaking, the metal bar is God and the individual magnets are us. The power of the combined force of a group of people meditating should not be underestimated it can help bring about the focus of the group be it peace, healing and even draw us closer to God. It is a great forgotten secret that would be benefit the lives of anyone who is serious about meditation.

There is in fact a force (our consciousness) which resides in the spine, and is forever being drawn down toward the earth by its magnetic current and therefore hampering our efforts to raise it toward the top of our spine and then to ultimate freedom from the top of the head. The whole point of meditation is to free our souls from the cycle of birth and rebirth and unite ourselves with the consciousness of God. Meditation helps draw our consciousness up the spinal channel and ultimately unites us with the consciousness of God.

Group Meditation is no doubt the easiest of any tip or technique you can apply to help you reach that desired but elusive deeper meditation states.
