The Ninety-Nines, Inc. is an all-female non-profit established in 1929 for female pilots. The first president of the Ninety-Nines was Amelia Earhart, and today, one of the Ninety-Nines's national scholarships is named after her. The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship is a $2,500 award given to a woman wishing to pursue aviation training. Scholarship applications are available at the Ninety-Nines, Inc. website.

The Whirly Girls is an all-female helicopter flying association designed to help women achieve career or personal goals with rotor aircraft (helicopters.) The Whirly Girls general scholarship fund awards upwards of $45,000 each year to women in training or wishing to start their helicopter training. Women in Aviation International offers scholarships to advance women pursuing aviation or aerospace careers. Women in Aviation has given away almost six million dollars over the last twenty years to those seeking career training or assistance in flight-school education.
