How to Burn an Mpeg-2 on Nero

    • 1). Insert a blank DVD or Blu-Ray disc into the computer's disc drive. Close the "Auto Play" window that appears and open Nero Burning ROM.

    • 2). Click on the drop-down menu in the corner of the "New Compilation" window that appears when Nero loads. Select the type of disc (DVD or Blu-Ray) and click on the type of compilation in the selection list. Set the options for the MPEG-2 disc in the tabs on the right, such as the disc name and the write speed. Click the "New" button to open the Selection screen.

    • 3). Navigate to the MPEG-2 file's location in the "Browser" section on the right side of the window. Click on the file and drag it into the "Compilation" section in the left window pane. For DVD and Blu-Ray video discs, make sure you drag the file into the "Video_TS" folder.

    • 4). Click on the "Burn Now" button once the file is completely copied into the "Compilation Screen" to start the burn process. A progress bar will appear. Click "Done" in the verification window to eject the disc from the drive. Alternatively, you can click the "Burn" button in the toolbar to open the "Burn Dialogue" window and make any more changes to the settings or disc name prior to the burn. Click on the "Burn" button to start the burn process and open the progress bar.
