- 1). Measure the length of your wall at the base, using a tape measure. Record the distance in inches on a piece of paper.
- 2). Divide the measurement from the first step by 2.
- 3). Measure from one end of the wall to the distance calculated in the previous step. Make a light pencil mark on the wall
- 4). Hold the end of a plumb line at the height where you want to mount the frame. Move the plumb line until the plumb bob is lined up with the pencil mark at the base of the wall. Make a pencil mark on the wall at the point where you're holding the plumb bob string. This is the center point of the wall. Install your frame-hanging hardware here.
