- An affirmation is simply a sentence that you repeat to yourself. Some people like to write the sentence as well. Whatever you are trying to attract into your life becomes the subject of this sentence. It can be money, love, health, or concrete items such as a new car, a home, a spouse. The sentences should be short, and worded as if the event or item is already a part of your life.
- There are many affirmations to chose from to aid in the manifestation of money into your life. "Money comes to me easily" is a basic affirmation, but quite effective. Some adherents to the Law of Attraction suggest that you personalize the affirmation. For instance, if your name is John, you would affirm: "Money comes to me, John, easily."
- Dr. Carl Simonton, of the Simonton Cancer Center in California, uses a form of affirmations in his work with cancer patients. In fact, he says his protocol "evolved from the concept that beliefs, feelings, attitudes and lifestyle are important factors affecting health." His award-winning film, "Affirmations for Getting Well," testifies to the power of affirmations in manifesting health. A simple affirmation for health is "I, John, am vibrantly healthy."
- If John is looking for a life partner, he might use an affirmation such as "I, John, am now attracting my perfect mate." If it's simply love you are after, affirm that you attract loving people into your life. A very basic and powerful affirmation is "I deserve love."
- Houses, cars, wardrobes, a particular job, the list of what people desire is endless. Here are some general affirmations into which to plug in your desire: "I love my new (insert desire here)." "I, (your name), am now attracting a (desire) into my life."
- Affirmations are powerful manifestation tools. It isn't enough, though, to just say the words. You need a foundation of faith, trust and optimism. Finally, gratitude for what you already have, and what you are about to manifest, is probably the most important aspect of the Law of Attraction.
