The last few weeks for me have been awful and depressing.
My wife has been telling me that I need to think positive thoughts instead of negative ones.
She's absolutely right too; it doesn't help to be so negative all the time.
So from here on out, I am going to see things in a positive light.
For instance, there have been earthquakes recently and we can all be upset over them, or we can try and find the positive side to them.
Yes they are destructive.
Yes they are a frightening experience.
BUT I'm sure there was at least one guy who was planning on tearing his house down anyway before the earthquake happened so he could build a new house.
He was probably going to spend a fortune on a demolition crew, but since the earthquake did it for him; he's now saving a ton of money! That's thinking positively! Frankly, I feel bad for this one guy because while everyone around him is sad and miserable, it's probably the best day of his life but he can't express his joy because he'll be looked at like an insensitive jerk! What a world we live in! I've been trying to apply this same positive outlook to my own life and I think I've succeeded.
For starters, I've gained five pounds this week.
I could be upset about it, but I started to think to myself, "You know what? At least I didn't gain ten pounds this week right?" And believe me I could've easily gained another five pounds if I wanted to.
I love to eat.
That entire box of Cookie Crisp cereal was no match for me.
On another positive note, has anyone ever told you that they hated you? I'm sure it's happened to almost everyone and it feels awful.
BUT, on the positive side, at least you can say that you're not "The Most Hated Man in America" like Sandra Bullock's soon to be ex husband Jesse James.
America has a long history of idiotic people doing idiotic things, but if you're the most hated man in America, you're definitely doing something wrong with your life.
Mr.
James, I would suggest maybe turning in early for the night, getting a good night's rest, and starting fresh tomorrow.
But don't dwell on the fact that you're the most hated man in America; try to find the positive side.
At least you're not the most hated man in the entire world right? http://themeatloafonline.
