The ones that most couples will use are where test strips need to be dipped into a sample of the woman's urine.
Generally these only take a few seconds to minutes to provide the reading that the woman is looking for.
What these kits do is help to identifying when levels of the Luteining hormone are increasing in the woman.
When this occurs then the woman will be able to recognize that ovulation is shortly to begin.
As soon as the woman is able to recognize when ovulation is about to take place then the couple will need to make love at least the day before and no more than 12 hours after ovulation has taken place.
By making love at such a time they helping to increase the chances of the sperm carrying the male gene reaching the eggs released by the woman's ovaries and fertilizing them.
