- 1). Provide a barrel in the rear for the convenient storage and refilling of water. The pipe fittings should be perfect to ensure leak-free flow of water and instant water supply when required.
- 2). Check the electrical system of the vehicle. Ensure that all the joints are properly connected for continuous supply of power. Keep an electrical tool kit handy in case of any short circuits. Place fuse wires along with a tester and cutting pliers inside the kit.
- 3). Include another barrel for collecting wastewater on the other side. Provide separate connections to the pump from the main while filling and collecting water in the respective barrels.
- 4). Carefully design and furnish the space inside the U-Haul. Opt for things that do not take up a lot of space such as sleeping bags and folding tables and chairs. Provide racks and shelves for the articles you carry. You can also make use of stackable containers. Install a rod in a corner to hang your clothes.
- 5). Bring zippered bags to protect your valuables from dust. Pack groceries in sealed pouches to help keep them fresh.
