Dance Clubs in Jacksonville, Florida

    • For many years Florida's nightlife was almost solely associated with the flashing lights of Miami's South Beach. Today Jacksonville has become a main contender in the southern club and bar scene. As a result of decades of significant construction efforts, Jacksonville is today the largest city in Florida and the largest city, in terms of land area, in the continental U.S. Jacksonville has also developed its own unique modern nightlife scene, which runs the gamut from high-energy ultra modern to low key and laid back.

    Plush

    • One of the most unique dance clubs in Jacksonville, the venue which is now Plush was transformed from a movie theater. With 12,000 square feet divided into a large dance floor, bar, VIP area and concert venue, Plush is one of the largest night clubs in the city of Jacksonville. The decor is modern and elegant, with silk curtains, leather couches and a mirror-lined dance floor. The in-house DJs at Plush spin a vast array of pop and dance music, with specific themes on certain week nights.

    Leopard Lounge

    • A more intimate venue, Leopard Lounge provides a more relaxed atmosphere than many of its rivals. Decorated in a neutral palette with brown leather couches, Leopard Lounge maintains a well-stocked bar and the dance floor features in-house DJs. The crowd it attracts is generally a bit older than some of its counterparts as well.
