How to Invest Aggressively

    • 1). Open an investment account with a broker of your choice. Ask friends, colleagues and relatives for referrals. Choose a local broker or an online broker, such as Vanguard or Fidelity. When you open the account you will need to fund it. Typically there is a $2,000 minimum to open an account, but check with your broker for their account minimum.

    • 2). Choose stocks, mutual funds that invest in stocks, stock exchange traded funds, and managed accounts that invest in stocks for the most aggressive investments. These types of investments are considered aggressive as they have a high risk.

    • 3). Keep very little of your cash invested in bonds. Bonds pay regular returns and offer modest rates of return, which make investing in bonds conservative investing.

    • 4). Tell your broker to invest all of your money aggressively if you are unsure of how to invest it yourself. Your broker will tell you the risks involved to make sure you are certain of your decision. A broker is trained to be able to help you invest your money the way that you want it invested.
