Like its name, Perfect Optimizer from Miracle Technology is seemed perfect in equipping itself to optimize your Windows with its serious interface and wide range of additional tools.
But do all these aspects translate Perfect Optimizer to a good Windows optimizer and maintenance software that Miracle Technology promises? Read on to find out the true quality of Perfect Optimizer that you will never discover in other reviews.
In technical aspect, Perfect Optimizer is quite easy to download and install.
It sizes only 4.
2 Megabytes.
But make sure you prepare around 150 Megabytes of hard drive space because after installation it will decompress the installation file and add initial backup files around that size in total.
Entering further into the program, you will see that Miracle Technology wants to make you believe that Perfect Optimizer is built from the bone as a Windows optimizer and maintenance software.
You can see it reflected on the presence of a speedometer-like PC Health status right in the main menu.
Your Windows' health conditions are reflected by four color signs on the speedometer: red which is the lowest health status, orange, yellow, and finally green the healthiest one.
But if you think this component will inform you your actual Windows' health condition, you are wrong.
It is four different static icons that will switch automatically in recognizable pattern: It goes red whenever you have just installed the software and then goes green whenever you have conducted its optimization function.
I have tested this pattern by first installing Perfect Optimizer, operating its optimization module, uninstalling the software, restarting the Windows, and then finally installing it again.
There I had a red sign alert although I already conducted system optimization procedure with the software.
Uncovering the package, Perfect Optimizer is quite bulky in feature richness aspect if we compare it to registry cleaner like Registry Fix, RegCure, or Registry Easy.
Beside offering you a registry cleaner feature, it also offers you junk file remover, file shredder, memory optimizer, Windows settings tweaker, file uninstaller, and Windows error fixer.
You can omit the last two features though because the first one is already available inside Windows and the second one is actually related with registry cleaner feature.
At first, this seems quite a handful of tools.
But if we compare Perfect Optimizer with the more serious contenders that are sold around the same price range, you will get an unbalanced result.
Just check Advanced System Optimizer (ASO) that is sold 5 bucks cheaper and loaded with more additional tools like disk space explorer, file encrypter, zip file repairer, automatic wallpaper changer, and even antivirus plus anti spyware.
Iolo System Mechanics 8.
5 basic version is sold even cheaper than ASO and most importantly it has Drive Medic module that can help you boot up your computer in case it fails to and conduct recovery operation from there, an importance maintenance feature that Perfect Optimizer leaves behind.
In optimization and maintenance testing, I found a socking result when comparing Perfect Optimizer's result with some of the best optimization software in the market: TuneUp Utilities 2009, Iolo System Mechanics, and Ashampoo WinOptimizer 6.
Perfect Optimizer found an astonishing 5344 errors finding which unarguably the most aggressive result among all registry software I have found.
But before I continued to clean up those errors, I scanned my computer with the other optimization software, thus leaving the condition of my computer unchanged.
Surprisingly, all of them consistently inform quite similar errors findings which is far below Perfect Optimizer record: under 150 errors.
Now, we have seen Perfect Optimizer performance.
But with the outstanding result, could it really find far way more errors than the reputable software? Before you jump up and down about this result, it is better to put numbers into matters.
According to what the other three products show in real time after the optimization process, it all improve Windows performance far way better than Perfect Optimizer, especially TuneUp Utilities 2009.
It is no wonder because TuneUp does not only clean up your registry and junk files, but it also sets your most ideal Windows settings automatically, defrags your hard drive, optimizes your RAM in real time, and defrags your registry.
And in reality, there are more factors other than registry-related one that make your system not running in its peak performance.
TuneUp Utilities 2009 superiority is also shown by its optimization analysis that is actual and dynamic.
This means different PC system in different time will get different recommendation which at the end it will have its most optimized condition.
Analyzing further deep, although Perfect Optimizer also offers Windows startup optimizer, it is the exact same one that is already available under your Windows' System Configuration Utility.
While in TuneUp Utilities 2009, the software will find any unnecessary startup entry and give you further information plus recommendation.
So it behaves like an optimization software should: helping you doing a one-click optimization process without bothering you to dig deep into technicality.
