How Well Do You Know Ibiza?

Whenever someone mentions Ibiza as a suggestion for a holiday, the first image you get is probably one of clubbing all night and sleeping all day.
But it has a lot more to offer than that, and as such it is something of an undiscovered jewel in the Balearic Islands.
It is very attractive for the gorgeous weather it offers, but while during the summer it can be very hot, they aren't as unbearably hot as they can be in some other countries.
Therefore, it can be a good place to consider as a family destination too, so long as you choose the right area to visit.
Ibiza Town and San Antonio are hotspots for clubbers, if this is what's on the agenda; alternatively, you can also visit a different area of Ibiza that will allow you to be able to enjoy the quiet and relaxing holiday you want.
So what is there to do in Ibiza? Well, for a start you will have an amazing selection of beaches to choose from.
You could try two different ones every single day on a fortnight's holiday and still not come close to trying them all.
Puerto de San Miguel is a gorgeous beach packed with activities and ideal for family breaks, while if you want a shallow slope into the sea and a great place for both kids and adults to wile away the days on holiday, then don't miss the town beach in Santa Eulalia.
This beach is in fact man made and it's extremely attractive and very inviting too.
Ibiza is also a great place to go if you like your holidays to be more active in nature.
There are plenty of routes to follow if you enjoy walking or cycling, and you can actually book yourself onto a cycling tour if you want to be sure you see all the best locations the island has to offer.
And, if you would prefer to go off on your own and see where you end up, just remember to take a map with you; ensure you have a mobile and some cash so you can get a taxi back to your apartment or hotel - in the event that you walk further than you are used to! Of course one of the best ways to make sure you see all the best sights that Ibiza has to offer without worrying about getting lost in the process is to book yourself onto a guided tour.
These are often handled by people who live and work on the island, so you can be sure of seeing all the best places that not every guide will tell you about.
All you need to do is select one of the many flights to Ibiza that are available, and then prepare for one of the best and most enlightening holidays you could hope for.
And all without a moment's clubbing!
